Developing Charismatic Leadership Competences

 

What are the main competences of leaders? What makes great leaders stand out? How do they best convince others of their ideas and also engender in them trust and confidence in reaching common goals?

Many studies of successful leaders have shown thet they primarily lead themselves and gain from these qualities in managing their relationships with others.

The relation from "I to I" (self leading) therefore leads to the relation of "I to you" (people-leading). Or, as Winfried Prost from Akademie für Ganzheitliche Führung (Academy for Integral Leadership) in Köln says: "There are myriads of daily small encounters of "ourselves" and "yourselves" which lead to trust, motivation, inner identification, authority and finally charisma".
